What is it like to be a researcher?  E-mail

Well that’s a very interesting question. People usually fall under research based on their interest in pursuing something. On my case, I was more interested in the tuition weaver and some cool bucks in my pocket than any head banging stuff. But I have noticed quite a lot of my friends who enjoy being in research. What I get from them is an essence of being what they want to be. Spending years and years in from of some stupid machine, hoping to come out with a breakthrough. I am not trying to encourage but its just my simple opinion.

Anyways, another most important factor for being a researcher is the primary institution. What I mean by this is, in many institutes people wont enjoy being a researcher. They work under a professor or investigator for a purpose but are not happy with it. You must find the right institute to get into it.
